MEANING OF HADITH

SUMMARY

A hadith is a thing that is new and finite in nature.  It has a beginning and an end.  Such a thing is transient, changing and impermanent.  It is created as object that our brain is capable to perceive using our sensory apparatus of sight, hearing, taste, smell and touch.  In this description, objects include thought and feelings.  A hadith cannot assume the role of the censor, the guide, the controller, the sustainer, the cherisher and the one that evolve an-nas / the agitated mind.  Nevertheless, a hadith is where you can find the ayaati / signs of Allah's message.  The ayaati / signs are revealed by Allah to those who are seeking the truth.  They are symbols that represent the reality.  Thus a hadith essentially is a representation that carry with it signs resembling the reality.  In and of itself, is not a reality.  It is a sign and a sign only point to the reality.

In surah Az Zumar 39:23,  Allah described hadith as kitaban / an inherent script that is mutasyabihan / the one that resemble,  mathani / oft repeating.  When a hadith resembles the reality, it shares certain qualities or features. The concept of resemblance allows us to compare, classify and understand the qualities or features it represent even though they are different.   This is how Allah provides guidance to those who seek the guidance.  As for those who acknowledge the potential threat to them (if Allah does not provide guidance) and hold high value to understanding the reality, their firmness and qulub / pulling of affection to other than Allah, will soften when they understand the hadith.

In surah Al Baqarah 2:76 & An Nisa 4:42, Allah further described that in the hadith there are ayaati / signs or codes embedded that make its interpretation hidden.  Allah sends His rasul / inner voice (that deliver the message) to decode the meaning embedded in the hadith.  To those who are aamanu / take security in Al Kitab,  they will perceive the hadith / representation with what Allah has fataha / decoded the meaning of the ayaati / signs / codes.  The reality is seen by observing what Allah reveals and not by own independent thinking.  Surely thoughts from independent thinking shall not be able to conceal the reality reveals by Allah.

In surah Yusuf 12:101, Allah established that it is He who is the originator of the lower consciousness (govern thoughts, images and sensations) and higher consciousness (hidden reality).   He revealed the ayaati / signs and taught us takwil / interpretation of the hadith / representation of the reality.  With the acceptance of the ayaati / signs and understanding of the interpretation of hadith, Allah guides us to correct ourselves and evolve to become a muslim and return to Allah.  In surah Al Kahf 18:70, the instruction is to follow Khidr, the presence of our Rabb / Lord and do not engage to understand the interpretation of hadith / representation using our own independent thinking.  The faculty of our own independent thinking is used only after Allah has taught us its interpretation because our independent thinking is inclined to hastily conclude the interpretation of the hidden reality.

This narrative is formulated from the observation of the following verses of the book Al Quran below.

By the (divine and all comprehensive) name Allah, the Rahmaan, the Raheem.   (The Rahmaan is the abundance of mercy for the abstract education system of the truth and the Raheem is the mercy for the approval of the education to those who seek it through Ar Rahman).

2.76    And when they laqu / measure to determine as those who aamanu / take security (in Al Kitab), they say, "Aamanna / we take security (in Al Kitab)", and when khola / alone (govern alone by own independent thinking), some of them among them, they say, "Atu haddisu / do they perceive the representation with what Allah has fataha / decoded the meaning (of the ayaati) upon you, that they may dispute with you about it, in the nearnest of your Rabb / Lord?"  Will you then not use reason ?

4:42    That moment, those who kafaru / rejected (Al Kitab) and disobeyed the rasul / inner voice (that deliver the message) will tusawwa / equate with them of the lower consciousness.  And they la-yaktumuna / will not be able to conceal from Allah a hadisan / representation of reality.

4:78    Wherever you are, almauta / ending the dissociation will yudrikkumu / seize / catches you and even if you were in burujin / prominent,  mushayyadah / elevated state (in terms of knowledge of the truth).  And if goodness reaches them they say this is from the nearness of Allah.  And if hurt / badness reaches them, they say this is from your nearness.  Say all are from the nearness of Allah.  Then what is for these qaumi / group of established thoughts that they are not near enough to understand hadisan / representation (of which there is reality behind the  perception of matter).

12.101    “My Rabb / Lord, without doubt You have given me from the mulki / kingdom of authority and taught me from takwil / interpretation of ahadis / representation of the reality.  Originator of the samaawaat / higher consciousness and al ardh / lower consciousness, You are my waliyyi / protector in this duniya / close attachments and the aakhirah / ending (of attachments).  Tawaffani / complete me as musliman / one who has submitted, and join me with the saalihin / those who correct themselves.”

18:70    (Khidr / the presence of your Rabb) said, "Then if you follow me, then do not ask me about anything (the mind must be silent) until I uhditha / relate (the meaning behind the perception) to you from it's zikran / remembrance."

39.23     Allah has revealed the best hadith / representation of reality, kitaban / an inherent script mutasyabihan / one that resemble, mathani / oft repeated (frequently repeated inherent script).  Those who yakhshawna / fear (acknowledge the potential threat when there is no guidance) their Rabb / Lord they shiver from it's juludu / firmness, then their juludu / firmness and their qulub / pulling of affection soften up to the remembrance of Allah. Such is the guidance of Allah; He guides with it whoever wills (to be guided). And whoever Allah let go astray, then not for him any guidance.

MEANING OF AL BAYT

SUMMARY

Al bayt is the mental house where the contents are made up of our accumulated knowledge; accumulated experiences; what we like and what we do not like;  what we believe and what we do not believe; our attached emotions; personalities;  our accumulated sorrow; our fear and so on.  Basically what the contents are made up of is, thought.  Thought is verbalized sensation.  It is the response of memory, the word, the experience, the image.  When we were born in this physical world, at that time when our brain was not fully developed, all our actions were manifested purely based on intuition.  Then our brain develop and started to accumulate its own content generated by our own thinking and also external information gathered by sensory inputs.  The firing of brain cells, scientifically called the firing of neurons, function through electric signals, control nearly everything we do from thinking to moving muscles, emotions, memory and so on.  The cortex of the brain is our thinking cap for all our plans, thoughts and ideas.  These firing networks of neurons form the synapses of all our brain activities in our bayt / mental house.

In surah Al Baqarah 2:125, Allah stated that He made the bayt / mental house a place of return for an-nas / the agitated mind.  This statement indicates that over a period of time, the content of our mental house will be filled with messages not delivered by our rasul / inner voices (that deliver the message) and they are not from Allah.  Our bayt / mental house is then said to be restless and agitated when it's brain activities are filled with impurities derived from falsehood, baseless understanding, innovations and other illusory otherness.  Forthwith, an agitated brain will give birth to thoughts, ideas, plans and other brain activities that create conflicts in the form of discrimination, prejudice, oppression, corruption, wrongful decisions and so on.

Indeed the first awareness to purify our bayt / mental house is with bakka / weeping for the little knowledge of the truth that we have in our memory and our desire to have abundant knowledge of the truth to guide us to the straight path.  To purify, Allah send established thoughts Ibrahim / one who is inclined to the truth and Ismail / one who listen to the truth as the qawaida / basic foundation of a pure bayt / mental house.  The bayt that is filled with the messages of truth from Rabb is called baytul maqmur, a mental house filled with prosperity.  Here the hadya / guidance offered and alqalaid / keys (to unlock the secrets of higher consciousness and the lower consciousness) is said will be kaabata / prominent (stand out) visible outside its structure as righteous deeds with experience that transform our soul.

In baytal haraam, the structure is filled with messages acquired from other than rasul of Allah, signifying that they are not based on the truth.  They are the outcome of fabrication based on falsehood, baseless understanding, mythical, and so on.  These messages may be created by own thinking or may be observed from information gathered by sensory input.  They become the established mentation for an-nas / the agitated mind where their prescribed restrictions that Allah forbids are also kaabata / prominent (stand out) visible outside its structure as evil personality and wrongful deeds.

2:125    And when We made al bait / the mental house (that house our brain activities) a place of return (from very little knowledge to possessing knowledge in abundant) for an-nas / the agitated mind and you take the place of salla / download (the truth) from the maqami / state of established position of Ibrahim (the one who is inclined to the truth) and We covenanted towards Ibrahim (the one who is inclined to the truth) and Ismail (the one who listen to the truth) that they purify My mental house for the tho'ifina / go round and the 'akifina / retreat and the rukka'i / bow (accept), the sujud / submit.

2:127    And when Ibrahim (the one who is inclined to the truth) and Ismail (the one who listen to the truth) raised (to exalt) the qawaida / foundation / principles from the baiti /  mental house,  our Rabb / Lord accept from us, surely You are hearing, knowing.

3:96    Surely the first (mental) house been placed for an-nas / agitated mind is that with Bakka (weeping for being in darkness with very little knowledge), a blessing and guidance for aalamin / all the empirical and factual knowledge.

4.81    And they  assert  (their) tho'atun / conformity (to the message delivered by rasul), then when barazu / emerge them from bayyata / mental house (that contain messages other than the one brought by rasul) with you tho'ifatun / a dogma (messages not supported by the truth) from them other than those taqulu / asserted (of which they fabricated), and Allah records what they yubayyituna / mentally house (the unsupported messages). So turn away from them and put your trust in Allah.  Sufficient with Allah, wakilan / one who you rely with devotion.

5.95    O you who aamanu / take security (in Al Kitab), do not kill the soida / captivation while you are under hurum / restriction; and whoever kills it among you deliberately, then the recompense is similar to (value) what was killed against the ana'am / blessing (for the knowledge received), which shall be judged (based on Allah's law with facts and empirical evidence) by equitable possessor from you, hadyan / an offering reaching the ka'bati / prominent / established (thought)Or, rejection to consume (the knowledge) those needy ones, or justly while he abstains from it; that is to suffer the results of his deed; Allah pardoned what has passed and whoever returns, then Allah will execute punishment on him.  Allah is Mighty, All Able Executor of Punishment.

5.97    Allah has made the baital haraam / house that charter the forbidden thoughts of unhealthy mind, ka'bata / prominent (stand out) established for an-nas /  agitated mind and (has declared) asshahra alharaam / the notable restrictions and hadya / guidance offered and alqalaid / the keys (to unlock the secrets of higher conciousness and the lower consciousness); that is so you may know that Allah knows what is in the samaawaat / higher consciousness and what is in the ardh / lower consciousness, and that Allah is aware of all things.

22.26    And We have directed Ibrahim / one who is inclined to the truth, to the location of the bayti / mental house: “Do not set up anyone with Me, and purify My bayti / mental house for those tho'ifina / go round, and those who qaaiman / are established, and the rukka'i / accept, the sujudi / totally submit.”

52.4    And the maqmur / prosperous bayti / mental house (housing knowledge of truth).

WHY WAS NOT THE QURAN REVEALED TO RAJULIN ?

SURAH  AZ-ZUKHRUF 43:31 - 32

 SUMMARY
#looking_at_oneself

In Surah An-Nisa (4:1), Allah describes how He has evolved humanity from a single self, which He then expanded into its pair: the divine masculine energy (zakara) and the divine feminine energy (unsa). From this dynamic pair, the diversity of independent thought processes and passionate urges (emotional drives such as excitement, curiosity) are dispersed. In essence, both our capacity for rational thought and the stirring of our emotional impulses are expressions of these divine masculine and feminine attributes.

This means that both rijal and nisa are products of the inherent qualities found within zakara and unsa, reflecting a balance between these energies. The verse urges us to be mindful of Allah when we seek deeper understanding, as well as the inner truths and hidden messages that are revealed to us. It also reminds us to reflect on the origin of our thoughts and emotions—those things we give birth to in our minds and hearts. For indeed, Allah is ever-watchful, overseeing all that unfolds within us.

In Surah Az-Zukhruf (43:31), the question was posed by the mukazzibin—those who rejected or denied the truth. They questioned why the Qur’an, the expression of divine truth revealed through the signs (ayaati) of existence, was bestowed by our Rabb (Lord) and not revealed directly to Rijal / our independent thought processes, to interpret the hidden knowledge from the signs given.  Their question reflects a misunderstanding of how divine revelation transcends human cognition.

Allah provides the response in the following verse, Surah Az-Zukhruf (43:32), affirming that His revelation is far superior to anything that human rajuli (independent thought processes) could ever produce or piece together its interpretation through intellectual effort alone. Allah reminds us that He has qasamna—assigned or distributed—among both rijal and nisa their means of livelihood (that is their roles, responsibilities).  Essentially they complement each other and they serve for one another, with intuitive, hidden knowledge being unveiled, and logical thinking and analysis coming through rijal (symbolizing the active, discerning mind).

Allah has raised some above others in degrees (darajaat), reflecting the unique capacities and levels of understanding He grants to each other. Yet, the verse emphasizes that the rahmatu—the mercy or approval for the revelation that comes from your Rabb (Lord) in revealing true knowledge to nisa—is far greater than anything the rajulin (independent thought processes) can assemble on their own.

By the (divine and all comprehensive) name Allah (that carries an elevated hidden meaning to its name), the Rahmaan, the Raheem.  (The Rahmaan is the abstract education system of Allah that provide abundant knowledge of facts and the Raheem is the approval given to those who seek education through Ar Rahman).

QUESTION

43.31    And they (the mukazzibin / one who lied) said: “Why not this Qur’an / expression of truth (from your Rabb) unzila / was revealed upon rajulin / independent thought processes from the qaryatain azheem / two great clusters of established thoughts (include images and sensation from independent fatherly support and emotional motherly support) ? ”

ANSWER

43.32    Do they yaqsimuna / assign rahmata / mercy (for giving the quran, expresssion of truth) of your Lord? We qasamna / have assigned between them (rijal and nisa), their means of livelihood in hayatid duniya / living temptaions of attachments and relationship (and would take one another as complementary service provider), and We raised some of them above others darajaat / (in) degrees.  And the rahmatu / mercy (for the approval of the true knowledge) of your Rabb / Lord is far better than that what yajma'un / they (the rajulin) put together.
